Unpacking and Setup

Remove all packaging materials. Place machine on stable, flat surface.

Stitch Selection and Settings

  2. Adjust stitch length with "+/-" buttons (default varies by stitch).
  3. Adjust stitch width with width buttons (for zigzag and decorative stitches).
  4. For buttonholes: Select buttonhole style (1-7), place fabric under foot, press buttonhole lever down, start sewing.

Tip: Refer to stitch chart on machine or manual for recommended settings per fabric type.

Threading and Bobbin Winding

Proper threading is essential for smooth operation.

  1. Raise presser foot and needle to highest position.
  2. Place spool on holder, thread through guides following numbered path.
  3. Use automatic needle threader: Lower lever, hook thread, raise lever to pull thread through needle eye.
  4. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, wind around bobbin tension disk, place bobbin on winder shaft, push to right, hold thread end, press foot controller.
  5. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread running counterclockwise, pull thread through slot and under tension spring.

WARNING! Always thread with presser foot raised. Ensure bobbin is inserted correctly to prevent jams.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug machine before cleaning. Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Cleaning: Remove lint from bobbin area and feed dogs with brush after each project.
  2. Oiling: Apply drop of sewing machine oil to hook race and other moving parts as per manual (do not over-oil).
  3. Needle replacement: Turn handwheel to raise needle, loosen screw, remove old needle, insert new needle with flat side toward back, tighten screw.
  4. Storage: Cover machine when not in use to prevent dust accumulation.

CAUTION! Use only recommended oil. Never use compressed air to clean internal parts.
