Unpacking and Setup

Unpack all contents and place on a stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove machine from box: Lift by the carrying handle, not by the free arm.
  2. Install foot pedal: Connect to port on right side of machine.
  3. Plug in power cord: Connect to machine and then to wall outlet.
  4. Attach accessory tray: Slide onto free arm if desired for storage.
  5. Install presser foot: Raise presser foot lever, align foot shank, and lower lever to lock.

First-Time Operation
