  1. Selecting a Stitch: Turn the stitch selection dial to choose your desired stitch number (1-60). The selected stitch icon will appear on the LCD.
  2. Adjusting Stitch Settings: Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust stitch width and length as needed for your fabric.
  3. Starting to Sew: Lower the presser foot lever. Gently press the foot control to begin sewing. Guide the fabric with your hands, letting the feed dogs move it.
  4. Reverse Stitching: Press and hold the reverse stitch button to sew backwards for securing seams.
  5. Finishing: Raise the presser foot and pull the fabric gently to the back. Cut threads using the built-in thread cutter.

Tip: Always test your stitch settings on a scrap piece of fabric before starting your project.

Stitch Selection & Settings

The machine includes stitches for various applications:

Buttonholes: Select one of the 7 buttonhole stitches. Place the fabric under the buttonhole foot, lower the foot, and press the foot control. The machine will sew the complete buttonhole automatically.

Needle Position: Use the needle position button to move the needle left or right for precise sewing, such as topstitching or edging.

Advanced Functions

Automatic Needle Threader: Lower the needle to its lowest position. Pull the needle threader lever down towards you, hook the thread onto the guide, and release the lever to pull the thread through the needle eye.

Speed Control Slider: Located on the front panel, this slider allows you to set the maximum sewing speed, ideal for beginners or detailed work.

Drop-in Bobbin: To insert a bobbin, open the cover, place the bobbin with thread unwinding counterclockwise, and pull the thread through the slot. The machine will automatically draw up the bobbin thread when you start sewing.

Free Arm Conversion: Remove the extension table by pulling it towards you to access the free arm for sewing cylindrical items like sleeves and pant legs.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily Cleaning: Remove lint and dust from the feed dogs, bobbin case area, and around the needle plate using the small brush provided. Always unplug the machine first.
  2. Oiling: Apply one drop of sewing machine oil to the hook race and other moving parts as indicated in the diagram, typically after every 8-10 hours of use. Use only high-quality sewing machine oil.
  3. Needle Replacement: Replace the needle regularly (after every project or 8 hours of sewing) or if it becomes bent or dull.
  4. Storage: Cover the machine when not in use to protect it from dust. Store in a cool, dry place.

CAUTION! Never use compressed air to clean the machine as it can force lint deeper into the mechanism.
