  2. Spool Pin & Thread: Place the spool of thread on the vertical spool pin. Use the included spool cap for smaller spools.
  3. Winding the Bobbin: Place an empty bobbin on the bobbin winder shaft. Follow the threading guide on the machine to wind thread onto the bobbin evenly.
  4. Inserting the Bobbin: Open the bobbin cover plate. Drop the bobbin into the case with the thread running counterclockwise. Pull the thread through the slot.
  5. Threading the Needle: Use the automatic needle threader or follow the numbered threading path on the machine.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from the needle area during operation. Always turn the power off and unplug the machine when not in use or when performing maintenance.

Refer to the stitch chart located on the machine or in the manual for a visual guide to all 80 stitches and their recommended uses and settings.

  1. Utility Stitches (1-30): Straight stitch, zigzag, stretch stitches, blind hem. Use for seams, finishing edges, and repairs.

Tip: Always test your stitch settings on a scrap piece of your project fabric before sewing the final piece.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily Cleaning: Unplug the machine. Use the small brush provided to remove lint and dust from the bobbin area, feed dogs, and around the needle plate.
  2. Oiling: Refer to the manual for specific oiling points. Use only high-quality sewing machine oil. A drop is usually sufficient. Wipe away any excess.
  3. Needle Replacement: Replace the needle regularly (after every 8-10 hours of sewing or with each new project). Loosen the needle clamp screw, remove the old needle, and insert a new one with the flat side facing the back. Tighten the screw firmly.
  4. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.

CAUTION! Always unplug the machine before cleaning or performing any maintenance. Never blow into the machine as moisture can damage internal parts.
