Unpacking and Setup

First-Time Operation

  3. Bobbin insertion: Drop bobbin into case with thread pulling clockwise; pull thread through slot until it clicks.
  4. Draw up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you to bring bobbin thread up.

WARNING! Ensure presser foot is raised when threading. Incorrect threading can cause jams.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug machine before maintenance. Clean lint regularly with brush; oil as per manual instructions.

CAUTION! Do not use compressed air; it can force lint into mechanics. Use only recommended oil.
