Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and protective covers.
  2. Attach the wide table: Align and slide into position until it clicks.
  3. Connect foot pedal: Plug into machine port.
  4. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into machine and wall outlet.
  5. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side facing back, tighten screw.

WARNING! Keep hands away from needle area during setup. Ensure machine is unplugged when installing needle.

First-Time Use

Power on machine; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, guide through bobbin winding tension disc, wind bobbin evenly.
  2. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread unwinding counterclockwise; pull thread under tension spring.
  3. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered threading path; use automatic needle threader.
  4. Draw up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you to bring bobbin thread up.
  5. Select stitch: Use stitch selection dial or buttons.

CAUTION! Always raise needle to highest position before threading or changing presser foot.

Stitch Selection & Adjustment

Select from 60 stitches: utility, decorative, quilting, heirloom.

  1. Turn stitch selection dial to desired stitch number (1-60).
  2. View stitch illustration on panel or in manual.
  3. Adjust stitch length: Press length button, use +/- to set (shorter for finer fabrics).
  4. Adjust stitch width: Press width button, use +/- to set (wider for decorative stitches).
  5. For buttonholes: Select buttonhole stitch (31-37), place fabric under foot, press buttonhole lever down.

Tip: Test stitch settings on scrap fabric before sewing project.

Basic Sewing Operations

Supports straight stitch, zigzag, decorative stitches, buttonholes.

  1. Prepare fabric: Place under presser foot, lower foot lever.
  2. Start sewing: Press foot pedal or Start/Stop button.

  5. Finish: Raise needle, raise presser foot, remove fabric, trim threads.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from moving needle. Always unplug for needle or foot changes.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug before cleaning. Clean lint from bobbin area and feed dogs regularly.

  1. Remove needle plate: Use screwdriver to loosen screws, lift plate.
  2. Clean lint: Use brush to remove lint from bobbin case and surrounding area.
  3. Oil: Apply sewing machine oil to hook race as per manual (sparingly).
  4. Exterior: Wipe with soft, dry cloth.

CAUTION! Do not use compressed air; it can force lint deeper. Never spray cleaners directly on machine.
