Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and protective covers.
  2. Attach the wide table to the machine if detached.
  3. Connect foot pedal to machine and plug power cord into outlet.
  4. Install the needle and thread the machine (see section 7).
  5. Wind and insert the bobbin (see section 7).

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow basic steps to begin sewing.

  1. Select a stitch: Turn stitch selection dial or use LCD buttons.

  3. Place fabric under presser foot, lower foot lever.
  4. Press foot pedal gently to start sewing.
