  2. Upper Threading: Raise presser foot and needle. Follow numbered path: spool pin, thread guide, tension discs, take-up lever, thread guide, needle (front to back).
  3. Drawing Up Bobbin Thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you until needle goes down and up, pull upper thread to bring bobbin thread up through needle plate.

WARNING! Ensure presser foot is raised when threading to allow thread to seat in tension discs.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug machine before any maintenance.

Regular cleaning: Remove needle plate screws, lift plate, use brush to remove lint from bobbin area and feed dogs. Oil sparingly as per manual instructions (if recommended). Replace needle regularly (every 8-10 hours of sewing).

CAUTION! Do not use compressed air; it can force lint deeper. Never oil without checking manual.

Safety Information

Always unplug machine when not in use, during threading, changing needle, or cleaning. Keep fingers away from needle. Do not sew over pins. Use proper needle and thread for fabric. Ensure adequate lighting. Keep machine dry and away from heat sources.
