Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove machine from box: Lift by carrying handle; avoid lifting by embroidery unit.

First-Time Operation

Basic Sewing

  4. Start sewing: Press Start/Stop or foot pedal.
  5. Finish: Press reverse stitch to lock; raise needle and foot.

Tip: Always test stitch on scrap fabric first. Use appropriate presser foot for stitch type.

Embroidery Functions

For built-in or imported embroidery designs.

  1. Attach embroidery unit: Ensure machine is off before attaching.
  2. Hoop fabric: Use embroidery hoop; ensure fabric is taut.
  3. Select design: Browse built-in designs or import via USB.
  4. Edit design: Resize, rotate, or combine designs on screen.
  5. Thread colors: Follow on-screen color sequence.
  6. Start embroidery: Press Start; machine will trim and begin.
  7. Change thread: Machine will stop for color changes.
  8. Finish: Remove hoop; trim jump threads.

WARNING! Do not move hoop during embroidery. Keep hands clear of moving parts.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Clean lint from bobbin area and feed dogs after each project.

  1. Bobbin area: Remove bobbin case; use brush to remove lint.
  2. Needle plate: Remove screws; clean under plate.
  3. Exterior: Wipe with soft, dry cloth.
  4. Oiling: Refer to manual for oiling points (use sewing machine oil only).

CAUTION! Never use compressed air; it can force lint into machine. Do not immerse in water.
