First-Time Operation

  4. Draw up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread tail, turn handwheel toward you until needle goes down and up, pull upper thread to bring bobbin thread up through needle plate.
  5. Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern.

CAUTION! Keep fingers away from moving needle. Always turn power off when threading or changing accessories.

WARNING! Never sew over pins; remove pins as you sew to avoid needle breakage and injury.

  3. Clean lint and dust from bobbin area and feed dogs using small brush.
