Unpacking and Setup

  1. Remove machine from box and place on sturdy table.
  2. Attach power cord to machine and plug into 120V AC outlet.

  5. Install needle securely with flat side toward back.
  6. Wind bobbin using bobbin winding system on top of machine.
  7. Insert bobbin into drop-in bobbin case following threading diagram.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Ensure machine is on flat, stable surface to prevent tipping.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow threading guide for proper setup.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered threading path from spool to needle.
  2. Use automatic needle threader: Lower lever to thread needle automatically.
  3. Draw up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you to bring up bobbin thread.

Stitch Selection and Settings

  6. Use mirror imaging: Press mirror button to create mirror image of selected decorative stitch.
  7. Test stitch on scrap fabric of same type as project.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  3. Oil machine: Apply sewing machine oil to designated points as shown in manual (do not over-oil).
  4. Needle replacement: Replace needle regularly (every 8-10 hours of sewing) or if damaged.
