Unpacking and Setup

First-Time Operation

Power on the machine; the LED light will turn on.

  1. Wind and insert the bobbin: Use the bobbin winding system on top, then place bobbin in the drop-in case.
  2. Thread the upper thread: Follow the numbered path on the machine and use the automatic needle threader.
  3. Raise the bobbin thread: Hold the upper thread, turn the handwheel toward you to bring up the bobbin thread.
  4. Select a stitch: Use the mode and stitch selection buttons.
  5. Begin sewing: Place fabric under presser foot, lower foot, and gently press foot pedal.

CAUTION! Keep fingers away from the needle area during operation. Always turn power off before changing needles or feet.
