Unpacking and Setup

  4. Drawing Up Bobbin Thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you to bring bobbin thread up.

WARNING! Ensure presser foot is up when threading upper thread. Ensure bobbin is correctly seated.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug machine before any maintenance. Regularly clean lint from bobbin area and feed dogs with brush provided.

  1. Remove needle plate screws to access bobbin area for thorough cleaning.
  2. Oil sparingly only as indicated in manual (many modern machines require no oiling).
