Parts Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

Common Installation Procedures

  1. Needle Replacement: Loosen needle clamp screw, remove old needle, insert new needle with flat side to back, tighten securely.
  2. Bobbin Case Installation: Insert bobbin case into shuttle race until it clicks, ensure tension spring is properly positioned.
  3. Presser Foot Change: Lift presser foot lever, press release button on back of ankle, remove old foot, snap new foot into place.
  4. Belt Replacement: Remove side covers, loosen motor mount, slip off old belt, install new belt with proper tension, reassemble.
  5. Feed Dog Adjustment: Remove needle plate, clean feed dogs, ensure proper height alignment, test fabric feed.
  6. Light Bulb Replacement: Unplug machine, remove bulb cover, gently remove old bulb, insert new bulb, replace cover.
  7. Tension Assembly: Remove face plate, clean tension disks, replace spring if worn, reassemble and test tension.
