Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a stable, flat surface.

  3. Install foot controller: Plug into machine port near power cord.
  4. Attach extension table: Slide onto free arm until it clicks into place.
  5. Insert needle: Use screwdriver to loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.

WARNING! Machine is heavy; lift with care to avoid injury. Ensure work area is clean and well-lit.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow threading guide.

  1. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, guide through bobbin winding tension, press foot controller to wind.
  2. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread unwinding counterclockwise.

Threading and Bobbin Winding

  4. Drawing Up Bobbin Thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you until needle goes down and up; pull upper thread to bring bobbin thread up.

WARNING! Ensure presser foot is raised when threading. Turn power off during threading.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  1. Cleaning: Unplug machine. Remove needle plate and bobbin case; use brush to remove lint and dust.
  2. Oiling: Apply one drop of sewing machine oil to hook race and moving parts as per manual (do not over-oil).
