Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a stable, flat surface.

First-Time Operation

  1. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, guide through bobbin winder tension, and wind evenly.
  2. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread running counterclockwise.
  3. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered path from spool to needle using automatic threader.
  4. Raise bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you to bring up bobbin thread.

  4. Use automatic needle threader: Push lever down, hook thread through guide, release lever.
  5. Pull thread under presser foot toward back.
