Unpacking and Setup

Unpack all components carefully. Place on stable, flat surface.

1. Remove machine from box: Lift by carrying handle, not by free arm.
2. Install foot controller: Plug into machine port, place on floor.
3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine, then into wall outlet.
4. Attach accessory tray: Slide onto free arm if desired.
5. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten.

First-Time Operation

Controls and Functions

3. Blind Hem: Use blind hem foot and stitch 08; fold fabric as instructed.
4. Zipper Insertion: Use zipper foot; stitch close to zipper teeth.

WARNING! Always use correct presser foot for specific function. Do not force fabric; let feed dogs move it.

CAUTION! Never use compressed air; it can force lint deeper. Use only recommended sewing machine oil.
