Unpacking and Setup

Unpack all components and inspect for damage. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift machine by its carrying handle, not by the free arm.
  2. Install foot pedal: Connect to machine port, place on floor in comfortable position.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine, then into 120V AC outlet.
  4. Install needle: Use screwdriver to loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side toward back, tighten securely.
  5. Wind bobbin: Follow bobbin winding instructions in manual.
  6. Thread machine: Follow threading path indicated on machine; use automatic needle threader.

First-Time Operation
