Threading and Bobbin Winding

Correct threading is essential for proper stitch formation.

Upper Threading:

  1. Raise the presser foot and needle to the highest position.
  2. Place spool on the spool pin. Follow the numbered threading path on the machine.
  3. Use the built-in needle threader for easy needle threading.

Bobbin Winding:

  1. Place an empty bobbin on the winder spindle.
  2. Guide thread from the spool through the bobbin winding tension disc.
  3. Wind thread around bobbin a few times by hand. Push bobbin winder to the right.
  4. Press foot pedal. Winding stops automatically when bobbin is full.
  5. Insert bobbin into the case under the needle plate, following the diagram.

WARNING! Ensure the presser foot is raised when threading the upper thread to open the tension discs.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug the machine before any maintenance.

  1. Daily: Brush lint from the bobbin area and feed dogs using the provided lint brush.
  2. Needle: Replace bent or dull needles immediately. Insert with the flat side toward the back.
  3. Oiling: Apply one drop of sewing machine oil to the hook race (bobbin area) after every 8-10 hours of use. Do not over-oil.
  4. Exterior: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or sprays.

CAUTION! Never use compressed air to clean the machine as it can force lint deeper into the mechanism.
