  1. Upper threading: Follow numbered path; use automatic needle threader by pushing lever down.
  2. Bobbin winding: Place thread on spool pin, guide through bobbin winder tension, place bobbin on winder shaft, push shaft to right, press foot controller.
  3. Bobbin insertion: Open cover, drop bobbin into case with thread pulling counterclockwise, pull thread through slot and under tension spring.
  4. Drawing up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you until needle goes down and up, pull upper thread to bring bobbin thread up.

WARNING! Always raise presser foot when threading. Ensure bobbin is inserted correctly to avoid jams.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures longevity and performance.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning.
  2. Remove needle plate and bobbin case to clean lint with brush.
  3. Oil moving parts as per manual instructions (use sewing machine oil only).
  4. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth.
